Soldering at the Schalt Kreis Symposium

As part of Project Area 5: Alpha-BIT-isation [1], the Wau Holland Foundation sponsored the soldering station [2] of the Schalt Kreis (“Circuit”) Symposium [3], held in Regensburg from June 6-9th 2025, managed by Timo Schindler from blinkyparts [4].

The Schalt Kreis Symposium brings together “hobbyists, artists, and technology enthusiasts of all levels” and ages for four days of experimental creation in workshops, lectures, and other hands-on sessions in soldering, microcontroller programming, digital media art, and more. On June 8th, the Auwerkfest (“Work Celebration”) day [5], participants are encouraged to present whatever projects they developed during the event, and celebrate their progress and/or achievements together.
