In a letter dated October 12, 2026, the Hamburg-Nord Tax Office revoked the foundation’s charitable status (tax exemption). The reason given was missing documentation for the 2024 tax declaration.
Until the matter has been clarified, the foundation may not issue donation receipts for new donations.
